Obituary of Ronald Arthur Golden

Ronald Arthur Golden, age 91 of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on February 12, 2022 at Rose Court at the Maris Grove. Born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ to Michael and Kathryn Tierney Golden, Ronald resided the last 30 years in Chadds Ford, PA, and the last 2 years at Maris Grove. He was a graduate of St. Joseph's University and worked as an Executive for Ford Motor Company for over 40 years before retiring. Ronald was also an Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean War. Ronald loved sports; In his younger years enjoyed playing baseball, and as he got older he enjoyed coaching the youth sports teams, including his son Gary's teams. Ronald loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his sister, Beverly DeMark. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Marie Draves Golden, children, Donna (David) Zummo, Lisa (Adam) Young, and Gary (Betty) Golden, 7 grandchildren, Keith, Julie, Krista, Justin, Marielle, Shane, and Chase, as well as 10 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, February 17th at 10AM at St. Mary Magdalen Roman Catholic Church, 7 Sharpley Rd., Wilmington, DE.
