Obituary of John Joseph Blacka

John J. Blacka, age 70 of Upper Chichester, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Darby, PA to Joseph John and Janet Gizara Blacka, John resided in Creekside Village for the past five years; previously residing in Logan Twp. for 35 years and Brookhaven, PA. He was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, Class of 1970 and received his Bachelor's degree from Spring Garden College. John was a senior computer programer for PNC Bank for 31 years before retiring in 2021. He enjoyed golf, going out for dinner at Sage Diner, and playing cards with his friends. John was active in the Boy Scouts when his son was a member. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step father in law, Fred Moll. John is survived by his wife, Marsha M. Blacka, daughter, Kimberly Blacka, son, Brandon Blacka, sister, Joan Burton, step brother, Fred Moll, and four nieces. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, 10-11 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a memorial service at 11AM.
