Obituary of Ernest W Callahan

Ernest W. Callahan, 72 of Frankford, DE died peacefully on September 28, 2016 at home. Born and raised in Wilmington, DE, he resided for the past 17 years in Frankford, DE, previously residing in Claymont. Ernest was a pipefitter for Dupont, retiring after 25 years. He previously worked for Greggo & Ferrara Inc After graduating from Brown Vocational High School, he served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Ernie was an avid Flyers fan and enjoyed watching his grandchildren playing sports. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Marie Barrow Callahan and 7 siblings. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pauletta Sparklin Callahan, 2 children, Leonard Callahan and Chrissy (Victor) Squillace, brother, Robert Callahan, 9 grandchildren and also 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, Pa. where friends may call from 10-11AM. Interment, Siloam United Methodist Church Cemetery.
