Obituary of Margaret Anne DeSanta

Margaret Anne "Peggy" DeSanta, age 55 of Bear, DE passed away suddenly on January 31, 2022 at home. Born in Chester and raised in Brookhaven, PA, Peggy resided over 25 years in Bear, DE. Peggy graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School, Class of 1984. Peggy enjoyed her son’s school years and was active as a football mom where she was instrumental in running the concession stand at his high school football games. She loved going on vacations, especially Las Vegas and Atlantic City, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Bush Chambers, Peggy is preceded in death by her sister, Terri Chambers who died in 2010. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Joseph DeSanta, son, Anthony DeSanta, 3 step children, Thomas, Christine and Michael DeSanta and 3 step grandchildren.  Also survived by siblings, Kathleen (Jack) Morris, Jeanne Miller, Lorri (Dave) Orlando, and Joe Chambers, as well as two generations of nieces and nephews.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, 9:30-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11:00AM.
