Obituary of Willard Booth Wright Jr.

Willard B. "Bill" Wright, Jr., age 88, of Wilmington, DE passed away on January 16, 2022 at Parkview Nursing Home. Born in Chester, PA, Bill has resided in Wilmington, DE for the past 52 years. Bill was raised in Cheyney, PA, and graduated from West Chester High School, class of 1951. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army, at one time stationed in Germany for a year and a half. Bill retired from Sears as a HVAC Manager after 28 years. His hobbies included golfing, bowling, and working in the yard. Bill loved all animals, but he held a special place in his heart for his cats, at one time owning four. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willard B. and Anna Anderson Wright, Sr., and a brother, James Wright. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Virginia Wright, his son, Steven G. (Jaime) Wright, his precious granddaughter, Grayson, and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 2 PM at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
