Obituary of Rosalie Sparks

Rosalie H. Sparks, age 94, of Concordville, PA died peacefully on September 23, 2016 at Sunrise Assisted Living. Born in Hurlock, MD, Rosalie has resided the past 5 years in Wilmington. She previously was a longtime resident of Concordville, PA where she raised her family. She was devoted to her family, caring for her home, husband and children. She enjoyed spending time outdoors attending to her vegetable garden and was also passionate about her dogs. In addition to her parents Frank and Virgie Colbourn Henry, Rosalie is preceded in death by her husband, Francis C. Sparks who died in 1990, and a son, Alan Sparks. She is survived by her children, Barry (Sandra) Sparks and David (Marie) Sparks, a daughter in law, Maggie Sparks-Fagan, 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, from 10-11am at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by memorial services at 11am. Interment will remain private.
