Obituary of Dorothy M. Kaiser

Dorothy M. "Dot" Kaiser, age 96 of Lima Estates, Media, PA passed away peacefully on January 6, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born & raised in Philadelphia, Dot was a resident of Media for the past 8 years, previously a 60 year resident of Glenolden, PA. Dot's greatest love was her family. Her many past times included playing the piano, sewing and going to the theater. She had a keen eye for decorating and could often be found refinishing furniture. She also enjoyed traveling the world with her husband Bill and spent many winters in Naples, FL and summers in Ocean City, NJ. She was a kind and gentle soul who loved all animals and had a very special bond with her kitty-cats. Dot is preceded in death by her husband, William M. Kaiser who passed in 2015, daughter, Diane Orlando (Dave), mother, Mabel McCartney Hassler and stepfather, Walter Hassler. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Denza,3 grandchildren, Debbie (Dave) Listman, David (Lorri) Orlando and Diana (Rich) Branton, 6 great grandchildren, Dalia (Sam), David, Kristina (Andrew), Delana (Jonathan), Nicole (Bobby) and Julia (Troy) and 4 great great grandchildren, Sam, Max, Olivia and Sophia. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, 1-2PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 2PM. Interment, Wednesday, 10AM at S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dot's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital (Stjude.org) or American Heart Association (heart.org).
