Obituary of Mildred T. Winfree
Mildred T. "Millie" Winfree, age 101 of Glen Mills, PA, passed away at home on January 1, 2022. Born to David A. and Helen Todd Traub in Chester, PA, Millie was raised in Chester and a graduate of Chester High School, Class of 1939. She worked as a manicurist in her mother's hair salon, on the assembly line at Sun ship during the war and later as a receptionist in various doctor's offices. Due to her husband's job which took them all over the world, Mille had the opportunity to experience many exciting adventures. She was an artist who created many beautiful pieces during her lifetime. She enjoyed music and singing, and she loved to dance. Most of all, Millie loved spending time with her family. She was devoted to her faith and was a member of Elam United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Millie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Everett E. Winfree, who passed away in 2002, her daughter, Judith Ann Winfree and her sister Doris Traub. She is survived by her children, Linda J. Winfree, E. Mark Winfree and Lisa (Ernie) Fouraker, five grandchildren, Lisa, Chip (Lisa), Jake (Michelle), Josh (Emily), and Mackenzie (Herb), nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 6 th from 10-11a.m. at Elam U.M. Church, 1073 Smithbridge Road, Glen Mills, PA followed by a Funeral Service at 11a.m. Interment, Elam U.M.
