Obituary of John S. Pullin

John S. Pullin, age 101 of Lewes DE died on January 3, 2022 at the Pinnacle N.H., Smyrna, DE. Born in Stanton, VA, son of Arby and Blanch Pullin, he served as 4th Sergeant, Tech 4, in WWII 1941-1947. Husband of Evelyn E. Pullin since 1942. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an active member of the Methodist Wesleyan Church in Dagsboro. He was employed by Sinclair, sold to BP, for 35 years, retiring in 1980. He later was employed by Super Fresh, 1998 till retirement 2008. John enjoyed spending time with his kids and especially grand kid's, family, friends. He enjoyed watching western movies, going to the beach, reading the Bible, helping anyone in need. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Pullin who died in 2012 and a daughter, Connie DeFrank as well as his siblings. John is survived by 5 Sons: James (Ruth), Thomas (Laura), Paul (Jamie), Kevin (Jo Ann) and Christopher (Dee) and 2 daughters: Tracey Pullin and Cathy Lancianese (Michael), a sister: MaryAnn Lucus, a son-in-law, Morris DeFrank, a brother in law, John Ryan (Pat), 17 grandkids, 23 great-grandkids, many nieces and nephews,

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan 11, 2022 from 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM.
