Obituary of Carol A. Melchior

Carol A. Melchior, age 85 of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on December 22, 2021 surrounded by family, at her brother's home in Springfield, PA. Born and raised in Philadelphia to Wilbur and Gertrude Carroll Schopf, Carol resided in Kennett Square, and previously resided in Springfield. Carol earned her masters degree and raised her family as a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by two of her siblings, Roger Schopf and Mary Jean Treftz. She is survived by her three children, Bryce Melchior, Fred (Lori) Melchior and Kim (Randall) Caldwell, her brother, Walter Schopf, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
