Obituary of Clifford John Zimmerman Jr.

Clifford John Zimmerman Jr went to his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to join many family and friends on Thursday, December 23, 2021. He passed away peacefully with his wife, son and daughter by his side.

Cliff was currently attending New Liberty Baptist Church in Aston, PA where he thoroughly enjoyed playing the piano and fellowshipping with his church family. He was a Christian who loved serving the Lord and loved playing the piano and singing. He and his wife Millie sang in many churches throughout their 50 years of marriage together. They made sure to raise their children in faith and under the Word of God and always tried to set a good example.

He also loved watching and playing sports. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and was always wearing his team fan gear. He loved watching his children play sports while they were growing up so much that he became the bus driver for all of their athletic events.

He loved his family dearly and their dog Huey.

Cliff had a tender heart and giving spirit. He enjoyed gift giving, talking to people and telling jokes. He will be missed dearly.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Mildred L. Zimmerman, son, Clifford J. Zimmerman III (Joy Zimmerman) and daughter, April D. Zimmerman.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in his honor at the Concord Baptist Church 2510 Marsh Rd, Wilmington, DE 19810 from 10a-11a followed by a service from 11a-12p. All are welcome to a burial immediately after held at Lawn Croft Cemetery, 1000 W. Ridge Rd, Linwood, PA 19061.
