Obituary of Ann Mattera

Ann Mattera, age 84 of Boothwyn, PA, passed away on December 5, 2021 at home. Born to Leonard and Maria Balestriei in Chester, PA, Ann was a life-long resident of Boothwyn. Ann worked in her mother's bakery, Maria's Market on 3rd St., and in the Delaware County Courthouse - Office of Judicial Support, for 17 years before retiring. In her free time, she loved drinking her wine and going to the casino. Most of all, Ann always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Mattera, who passed away in 2000, as well as her son, Anthony Mattera. She is survived by her son, Nunzio (Tara) Mattera, grandchildren, Lauren and Anthony Mattera, as well as four great-grandchildren, Sergio, Lela, Sebastian, and Ava. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 14th from 10-11AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral liturgy at 11AM.
