Obituary of Paul M. Nazar

Paul M. Nazar, age 74, of Wallingford, PA, passed away on Decemeber 4, 2021 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born to Paul and Mary Romanic Nazar in Whitehall, PA, Paul has been a longtime resident of Chichester, PA. He attended Lehigh Community College and went on to earn his Masters degree from Mansfield University, Class of 1972. Paul worked as a teacher for Linwood Elementary School and Chichester Middle School for 33 years. While at Chichester, he was a coach for the football, basketball, baseball, and track teams. Paul also coached the Chichester Crusaders.

In addition to teaching, he worked for Children Youth Services of Delaware County, as well as a crossing guard in Lower Chichester. He was a 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus, Council #13710, and the Men of Malvern, for over 40 years. Paul was a past resident and secretary of Reliance Fire Co. He like fishing, playing pinochle, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Janet A. McGhee-Nazar, who passed in April, 2021. He is survived by his 3 step-children; Shelly (Larry) Moore, Tanya (Shawn) Bedwell, and Barbara (Kenny) Rowlands, grandchildren; Demi (Al), Zachary (Laura), Gianna, and Shawn Patrick, and great grandchildren; Brayden, Mason, and Liam. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11, from 10-11AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM.
