Obituary of Thomas Stewart Owen

Thomas Stewart Owen, age 79 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on December 5, 2021 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Thomas was born to Walter Stewart and Mary Jane Eddy in Royal Oak, MI. He was an Army veteran who served his country during the Vietnam Era. Thomas attended Delaware County Community College receiving his degree in Hotel Restaurant Management, and worked as an Administrator for Pocopson Township for 20 years before retiring. In his spare time, Thomas loved going to the bar for a beer, as well as enjoying a movie at home. In his younger years, Thomas enjoyed being a chef. He was a financial wiz and loved investing in the stock market. In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Lane. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Stella Lynch Owen, daughter, Kelley (Kirk) Sims, step-son, John (Julie Anne) Wentzel, sister, Mary Beth Son, six grandchildren, and a great grandson. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 10th from 10:30AM-11:30AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30AM.
