Obituary of Vito J. Greto

Vito J. Greto, age 92 of Thornton, PA, passed away at home on November 12, 2021. Born to Vito J. and Theresa Sgro Greto, Sr. in Crum Lynne, PA, he was raised in Leiperville, PA and was a life-long resident of Upper Chichester, PA. After graduation, Vito served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 951. Devoted to his faith, Vito was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church. Vito was a member of Knights of Columbus, Old St. Thomas Council 11051. He was a family man and was devoted to his family and friends. In his leisure time, he enjoyed golfing as well as other sports, and loved the outdoors. Vito had a love for traveling, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He always took pride in caring for his property and being devoted to his family. In addition to his parents, Vito is preceded in death by his wife, Angeline Marie Massi Greto and siblings, Severio "Sam" Greto, Marie Rossi, William Greto Sr., Daniel Greto, and Michael Greto. He is survived by his children, Karen Wright, Joanne (Gerald) Tripoli, and Jacqueline Rossi, grandchildren, Brad (Dana) Graziano, Jenna (John) Cavanagh, Andrew (Erin) Rossi, Mark Tripoli, and Taylor and Lexi Wright, great-grandchildren, Mia, Aubrey and Gavin Graziano, as well as his siblings, Albert Greto Sr., Thomas Greto, Theresa Celli, John Greto and Rose Ann Yannacome. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12 from 9:30-10:30AM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 4225 Chichester Ave, Boothwyn, PA, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30AM. Interment will remain private. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.paganofuneralhome.com.
