Obituary of Kathy A. Bailey- Capps

Kathy A. Bailey-Capps, age 64 of Glen Mills PA, passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer on November 4, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Hearn and Harriet (Campbell) Bailey in Chester PA, she resided the last 15 years in Glen Mills, PA, previously of Boothwyn,PA. Kathy earned her Masters in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and several others for over 30 years before her cancer diagnosis. She had a love for animals and enjoyed horseback riding. She also enjoyed comedy, especially comedian and actress Miranda Hart. Kathy's favorite color was pink and she always had a smile on her face and loved to laugh. Most of all, Kathy loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her son, Owen. In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, Carson D. Capps, who passed away in 2010, her infant daughter Taylor Capps, her sisters Judy and Bonnie, one brother Hearn "Beetle" and her nephew, Jonathyn Cook. She is survived by her children, Audrey Niki (Gary) Capps-Wright, Damien (Mandy) Capps, Joshua (Stephanie) Capps, Corey Capps, and Owen Capps, 10 grandchildren, sister Marilyn Wood, beloved friend Steve Emmanuel and several nieces/nephews. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 11AM-12PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA. Interment remains private.
