Obituary of Patricia Lee Merrick

Patricia Lee Merrick, age 79 of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on September 25, 2021 at Rose Court at Maris Grove Senior Living. Born in Wilmington, DE, Patricia resided in Glen Mills, PA, previously residing in Springfield, PA. She graduated with her Bachelors in Nursing from Wilmington General Hospital Nursing School. Patricia was a Registered Nurse at Wilmington General Hospital, Riddle Memorial Hospital, and several nursing homes including Sacred Heart Nursing Home and Rosemont Presbyterian Village in Broommall, PA. She loved the beach and fishing, as well as watching movies. Patricia loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Melvin Lee and Grace Clegg Beatty, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Merrick. Patricia is survived by her son, Christopher (Angela) Wright, her daughter, Suzanne (Andrew) Minch, her five grandchildren, Rebecca, Justin, and Hannah Wright, Logan and Parker Minch, and her brother, James Beatty. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021, from 4:30-5:30PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA 19060, followed by a funeral liturgy at 5:30PM.
