Obituary of William John Dugan

William John "Flick" Dugan, age 70 of Boothwyn, PA, passed away on August 15, 2021 at his home. Born to the late Frances Joseph Dugan and Anna Mae Craft (Dugan)(Leonard) in Chester, PA, William was a life-long resident of Boothwyn, PA. He worked as a Postal Carrier for the Chester and Brookhaven Post Offices for 24 years. After his retirement, William was a school bus driver in the Upper Chichester School District for 15 years. He served his country proudly in the Army as a Green Beret in the 82nd Airborne and Special Forces, stationed out of Fort Bragg, NC. He was an avid reader, liked to play the guitar, loved his sweets, but most of all, William aka "Poppy"loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. William is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cheryl E. Dugan(Lewis), his children; Benjamin Dugan, Hilary (Wesley) Wright, and Matthew Dugan, siblings; Marie (Joseph) Neishell, Barbara (Jack) Goodman, Patricia Jones, Martin (Janice) Leonard, and Lisa (Ron) Brown, and his granddaughters; Emily, Carly, and Lindsey. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 1-2PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a Service at 2PM. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
