Apples was one of the first people I met after joining the Clayton Park league. I didn’t know how to take him when he reached in my bag and helped himself to my golf clubs. I soon learned he was a great guy with a wealth of knowledge and history. He talked about his Air Force stories when he found out I was also in the Air Force. Stories I will cherish. We will miss his gruff exterior because we know what a good and thoughtful man he was. Rest in piece my friend. Dom Fusco
