Obituary of James Lawrence Reilly

James "Jim" Reilly, age 96 of Garnet Valley, PA passed away peacefully on August 2, 2021. Born and raised in Philadelphia to Laurence and Mary Morris Reilly, Jim previously resided in Bucks County for over 40 years and the last 14 years in Foxfield community. Jim was a U.S. Army Vet. who served in Germany during WWII. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from LaSalle College in 1956 and worked as a Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist at the Aviation Supply Office in Northeast Philadelphia for over 35 years before retiring. Jim previously served as Vice President of the First German Sport Club Phoenix in Feasterville, PA. He loved traveling, golf, sailing, and the beaches in Avalon, NJ and Outer Banks, N.C. He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren's many sports activities. In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by 4 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Christine Blazik Reilly, his children, Diane (Joe) Hagan and Jim Reilly, his sister, Patricia Reilly, grandchildren, Dennis, Ed, Blythe, and Christopher, and 2 great grandchildren Luke and Lili. A visitation will take place on Wednesday August 11th from 10-11AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA, followed by funeral service at 11AM. Interment remains private.
