Obituary of Elizabeth L. Carrullo

Elizabeth L. Carrullo, age 79 of Wilmington, DE died suddenly on August 26, 2016, at home. Born in Philadelphia to the late Oscar & Elizabeth Kroll Durden, Elizabeth has resided in Wilmington, DE for the past 28 years, previously residing in Aston, PA. She was active with the Del Vets where she once served as president of the Women's Group. She enjoyed her family, friends and most importantly, her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph F. Olivastro who passed away in 2011, a brother, William Durden, a sister, Doris Smith, and a son-in-law, Robert Baker. Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 27 years, Joseph A. Carrullo, 2 children, Linda (Rich) Vintigni & Joseph (Theresa) Olivastro, and 5 grandchildren, Joseph Jr. (Kelly), Anthony, Nicholas, Julia & Christina. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, from 11:00-12:00PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 4701 Weldin Rd., Wilmington, DE, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Interment will be held privately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE. Donations in her memory may be made to Limen House (www.limenhouse.org).
