Obituary of Harold B. Roedel Jr.

Harold "Hal" B. Roedel Jr., age 92 of Maris Grove, Glen Mills, PA passed away on July 15, 2021 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Hal has resided in the Maris Grove community since 2006, and prior was a longtime resident of Aldan, PA. Hal graduated from Lansdowne High School class of 1946. He was active with numerous dealerships working his way from Mechanic to Service Writer to Service Manager. Hal later worked for the Media Courthouse for 15 years in HVAC. He also served as a Pennsylvania State Deputy Constable for several years. Hal was a former member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Clifton Heights, PA. He was devoted to his family and home and enjoyed gardening and was known for his tomatoes. He also was known as a handyman around the house and enjoyed working on cars. In addition to his parents, Harold B. and Irene Mae Schaeffer Roedel, Hal is preceded in death by his sister, Doris Ireton. Hal is survived by his wife of 68 years, Josephine Dickel Roedel, 2 children, Stephen Roedel and Diane Roedel-Brown and her husband Stephen Brown. A visitation will be held on July 20, Tuesday, 10-11AM at Maris Grove Chapel, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM. Interment will remain private.
