Obituary of Douglas F. Crockett

Douglas "Doug" F. Crockett, age 67 of Parkside, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 14, 2021 at home. Born to the late Leon F. and Augusta News Crockett in Upland, PA, he resided for the past 18 years in Parkside, PA, previously residing in Aston, PA. Doug was a quality control inspector for Olympic Tool and Machine Corp. in Aston, PA for the past 25 years until his recent illness in December 2020. He graduated from Sun Valley, Class of 1971 and was an 18 year veteran serving in the Navy. He was an avid Flyers fan and enjoyed watching and following the European Soccer leagues especially the Chelsea FC team. Doug was a coach at the Aston Youth Soccer Association for the years his sons played in the league. Doug is survived by his wife of 23 years, Raushan Crockett, 2 sons; Leon and Derek Crockett, 2 sisters; Cathy (Lester) Burton and Amy (Michael) Schilling, 3 nieces; Allison and Kate Rittmayer and Anna Schilling. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM. Interment will be private.
