Obituary of Edna P. Russell

Edna P. Russell, age 95 of Aston, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July12, 2021 at home. Born in Lenni, PA, she was an Aston resident for many years. At one time, Edna moved to Florida where she resided in New Port Richey, Florida from 1986 to 2010 before moving back to Aston, PA. A homemaker, Edna was a former member of Ladies Auxillary at Aston Beechwood Fire Co. She was also a member of the Beechwood Park Chapel and Mt. Hope United Methodist Church. In her earlier years, Edna enjoyed bowling and loved to play cards. In addition to her parents, James and Edna P. McCorkle Achuff, Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Russell who passed in 2006 and 2 siblings, Mary Latshaw and James Achuff. She is survived by 2 children, Patricia (Benton) Fung and Raymond (Andrea) Russell Jr., a grandson who she raised, Don (Bette) Williams along with 5 additional grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Arlene Saville. A visitation will be held on Friday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM.
