Obituary of Kathryn Marie Hoffman

Kathryn M. Hoffman, age 73 of Delaware County, PA passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at her home. Born in Chester and raised throughout Delaware County, she was the daughter of Charles H. and Mary E. Jensen Hoffman. Kathryn resided in Marcus Hook, PA for the past five years, previously residing in the North Wilmington, DE area for most of her life. She graduated from Chichester High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in Business from Goldey-Beacom College. She was a Property Manager in various residential developments throughout Delaware and retired after 30 years in the industry. Kathryn was a member of Immaculate Conception of Lourdes Church as well as St. John Fisher Catholic Church. She loved line dancing, going to the beach, and admiring lighthouses. Kathryn cherished the time spent with her grandsons and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Welsh, in 1979 and brother, William Hoffman, in 2002. Kathryn is survived by her son, Michael J. Hoffman, two grandsons; Michael "Mikey" and Brayden, two sisters; Jacqueline Emery and Nancy Hoffman; two brothers; Charles (Sharon) Hoffman and James (Donna) Hoffman. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 9:30 - 10:45 AM at the Immaculate Conception of Lourdes Church, 21 West Eighth Street, Marcus Hook,PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
