Obituary of Bruce W Tomlin

Bruce W. Tomlin, age 79 of Avondale, PA died on August 28, 2016. Born in Wildwood, NJ, Bruce resided in Avondale for the past 5 years previously a resident of West Chester, PA for 37 years. Bruce retired from Allied Chemical after many years. He was a member of Brandywine Lions Club and a former member of Elam U.M. Church. His hobbies included sailing, hunting, snow skiing and spending winters at his 2nd home in Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Hazel Hickman Tomlin. Bruce is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Tomlin, a daughter, Tracy Frymiare, 2 grandchildren, Laura & John Frymiare and numerous extended family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, 9:30-11:00AM at Elam U.M. Church, 1073 Smithbridge Rd., Glen Mills. PA followed by services at 11:00AM. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce's memory may be made to the Brandywine Lions Club.
