Obituary of Eleanor Veronica Huber

Eleanor Veronica Huber, age 80, of Aston, PA, passed away quietly on June 1, 2021 at her daughter's home surrounded by family. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA to John J. and Eleanor McGinn Newell, Eleanor resided in Aston for the past 50+ years, previously residing in Upper Darby, PA. She was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School, Class of 1959. Devoted to her faith, she was a member of Church of St. Joseph Catholic parish in Aston, PA. Eleanor was an avid animal lover and especially loved her pet dogs. She enjoyed her trips to Ocean City, NJ, Orlando, Florida, and the beach. Eleanor loved taking care of people, and time spent with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William E. Huber, Sr. who passed in 2011. Eleanor is survived by her seven children; William E. (Jeannine) Huber, Jr., Jack (Bernice) Huber, Dr. Timothy (Maylin) Huber, Ken (Lia) Huber, Rosemary (Jon) Farrow, Vicki (Stephen) Patterson, Anne (Michael) Brouses, her 21 grandchildren (Kevin, Adam, Kathryn, Kristine, Ryan, William, Kyle, Emily, Holli, Michael, Brett, Erin, Stephen, Erica, Alex, Nicholas, Nathan, Joseph, Julia, Jason, and Matthew) her sister, Mary Mullin, her two brothers; John Joseph (Theresa) Newell and James Newell. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA and Wednesday, June 9 from 9:30-10:15 AM at Church of St. Joseph Catholic Parish, 3255 Concord Rd, Aston, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment, St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, Glen Mills, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Stroke Association.
