Obituary of Charles G. Hall III

Charles G. Hall, III, age 96 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on May 2, 2021 at his home. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of Caroline Spahr and Charles G. Hall, Jr. He has resided in Fox Hill Farms for the past twenty two years and previously resided in Upper Chichester for 43 years. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. After 35 years of service, he retired from General Electric in Philadelphia and Malvern as a tester in 1986. Charles was a Master Mason and one of the original members of Perkins Lodge #402 before the lodge was merged with St. John's Lodge #115 in Philadelphia. He was an avid bowler, and bowled in many leagues in the area. Charles enjoyed boating, water skiing and time spent down at Wildwood, NJ and Buttonwood, MD. He enjoyed his sports, especially the Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles, although he was a Washington Redskins fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Emma Mae Keys Hall who passed in November 2020 and his sister, Ruth Porta. He is survived by his daughter, Gail (Ralph) Koechert, his three grandchildren; Amy (Jeremy) Griner, Robert (Kristen) Koechert, and Laurie (Joe) Milnes, six great grandchildren; Kenny and Jenna Griner, Tori and Ella Koechert, and Tyler and Camille Milnes.
