Obituary of Joseph Daniel Dodds

Joseph Daniel Dodds, age 85 of Garnet Valley, PA passed away on April 27, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Born to Edward and Esther Casey Dodds in Chester, PA, Joseph has resided in Brookhaven, PA for 30 years. Joseph was educated in the Chester School District and went on to proudly serve his country as a United States Marine. Devoted to his faith, Joseph was a member of Faith Community Church in Brookhaven. He worked as a salesman for Medford Meat Co. in Chester, PA for over 35 years before retiring. Joe enjoyed cooking, and was a world class chef. He was very creative and enjoyed doing crafts especially his tinmen in his free time. Joseph loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Betty Landers Dodds, and 7 siblings, Edward Dodds, William Dodds, Sara Jane Rounds, Patricia Vitelli, Sandra Weaver, Donald Dodds and Larry Dodds. He is survived by his son Joseph (Terri) Dodds, 3 siblings, John Dodds, Barbara Lou Agnew, and Thomas Dodds, and his beloved grandchildren, Joseph and Lauren.
