Obituary of Parker R. Farrell

Parker R. Farrell, age 10, of Garnet Valley, PA passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at A.I. Dupont Hospital for Children, Wilmington, DE.

Born April 7, 2010 to David W. Farrell and Rebecca E. Shore Farrell at Paoli Hospital. Parker resided in Garnet Valley, PA previously residing in Downingtown, PA. He was a student in the fourth grade at Bethel Springs Elementary School. Parker loved Pepsi (aka "blue soda"), wearing pajamas out in public, and his favorite color was yellow. He had a passion for vintage action figures, Transformers, Star Wars, and was a Master Lego builder. He enjoyed frequent visits to Rehoboth Beach, going to water parks, fishing, and various loving family adventures. Parker planned for Christmas year round as it was his favorite holiday and could never get enough snuggles from his family dogs: Tizzy, Annie, Twyla, and Rex through the years.

Parker is survived by his parents and his 6 year old sister, Murphy Farrell, of Garnet Valley; his maternal grandparents: Ray and Dawn Shore of Concord Township; his paternal grandparents: Victoria and David Farrell of Downingtown; his maternal great grandparents: Jean Smith of Newark, DE, Ed Smith of The Villages, FL, and Charles Shore of Concord Township; his paternal great grandparents: Cynthia and Robert Farrell of Berwyn, and Remedios Feliciano of Manila, Philippines as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life to honor Parker will be held on April 29, 2021 from 5pm-8pm at the Concordville Inn, 780 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Pastor Joe Forwood of Siloam United Methodist Church will share words of love and prayer at 7pm. The family would like to honor Parker with one last party full of light and love to remember a special person who is so greatly missed. Please note that in true Parker fashion we invite everyone to come as you are in casual comfortable attire and pajamas are always welcome! Light food and refreshments will be served.
