Obituary of Ann Regina Wilhelm

Ann Regina Wilhelm, age 78 of Boothwyn, PA passed away suddenly on April 16, 2021 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Born to George and Josephine Stanley French in Altoona, PA, she has resided in Boothwyn, PA for 40 years, previously in Aston, PA. Ann retired from Neumann College, where she was a secretary for 17 years. Since 2010, Ann found a new career working in Guest Services at Subaru Park, home of the Philadelphia Union professional soccer team.  She was devoted to her faith and a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Boothwyn, PA. A NASCAR follower, Ann was an also avid Phillies fan and enjoyed attending games. She also enjoyed attending Willie Nelson concerts, as well as shopping and a good road trip. When Ann was home, she enjoyed spending quality time with her beloved Pomeranian Bocephus. Ann raised thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society as a devoted member of her family’s Savage Walkers Relay for Life team. Most of all, Ann cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, James and Christopher. In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, James F. Wilhelm who passed in 2003. She is survived by her children, Richard Francis (Donna) Wilhelm and Lisa Marie Wilhelm; brother, William (Cathy) French; sisters Catherine (Clay) French, Mary Jo Davis, Theresa (Tom) Birmingham, Patricia Raffel; two grandsons, James Francis Wilhelm and Christopher Matthew Wilhelm, and numerous nieces and nephews.  A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, April 21 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA. An additional viewing will be held on Thursday at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA, from 9:30-10:15AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA. Donations in her memory may be made to Relay for Life of Chester County.
