Obituary of Marjorie Katherine Kumiega

Marjorie Katherine Kumiega (nee Closs), age 59, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Christiana Hospital, Newark,DE. Born and raised in Chester, PA., to George N. Closs, Jr. and Frances Gallagher Closs; she resided in Wilmington for the past 30 years, previously resided in Glenolden, PA. Marjorie was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church. She loved cats and butterflies, and enjoyed going to the beach. Marjorie is survived by her loving husband, Leon Kumiega; her two children, Andrew "Drew" L. (Chris) Isabella and Kimberly Nicole Kumiega; her siblings, George N. (Dawn) Closs III, Maria (Brian) Davis, Fran and Karen Closs, as well as several in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 18, 10-11 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Memorial Service at 11AM. Interment will be private.
