Obituary of Margaret M. Barnabei

Margaret "Margie" M. Barnabei, age 68 of New Castle, DE, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at home. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Glenolden, PA, she resided for the past 30 years in New Castle, DE, previously residing in Chichester, PA. Margie graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School, Class of 1970, and was an Administrative Assistant for Conrail. She enjoyed going to the beach and loved animals, particularly her two Jack Russell Terriers, Dutchess and Duke. Our family will deeply miss her sense of humor and quick wit. In addition to her father, Alfred D. Barnabei, Margie is preceded in death by her brother, James Barnabei. She is survived by her mother, Margaret M. DeMarco Barnabei, four siblings, Suzanne Gannon, Alfred (Patricia) Barnabei, Cheryl Anne (Joseph) Jiffo, and Mark Barnabei. Margie will also be missed by her aunts, uncles, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services and Interment are private.
