Obituary of Toni M. Thomas

Toni M. Thomas, age 69 of Linwood, PA passed away on January 23, 2021 at her home. She was born in Buffalo, NY to David and Virginia Hicks Gavin. A resident of Linwood, PA for the past 48 years, she was raised in Aston, PA and graduated from Sun Valley High School in 1969. Toni retired in 2013 from Crozer Chester Medical Center after 20 years as a nurse. She previously worked at Sacred Heart Hospital. She enjoyed camping in Hidden Acres in Honeybrook, PA with her family. Toni was known as a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. In addition to her parents, Toni is preceded in death by her loving husband, Roderick V. Thomas, who passed in 2019, her son, Anthony Thomas, who passed in 2008 and a brother Benjamin Gavin who died in 2019. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole (Eric Campbell) Thomas, 2 grandchildren; Kelsi Rickards and Dayna Thomas, as well as Carrie Oswald, whom she helped raise, and she will be sadly missed by her camping family. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 29 from 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11AM. Interment at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Toys for Tots, or the Wounded Warriors foundation.
