My dear ones;
I was totally shocked to hear of my dear friend, Carmella’s passing.
We graduated from Media High School together and remained in close contact until I know longer could reach her via mobile phone. She was a part of our Reunion Committee and added a sparkle to our meetings~!
MHS 1960 will miss her dearly.
There are no words to take away the pain you are all feeling now but “ Home With Our Maker” is hopefully some consolation.
Lean on your family, friends and FAITH — your beloved Mom and Grandmom would have wanted that.
With my deepest condolences,
Carole Lee McGaughey Waslick

Dear Carmella, i'm happy that I could make you laugh so I could see that beautiful smile that all the "Premium Women" in this family possess. "Christmas Eve at Carmella's" will remain one of the greatest gifts of my life. The love shared in your house was inspiring which is not surprising since this beautiful Family I inherited from your sister, my love, Rose Ann is part of me and will remain so until we all meet again. I know you have already brought all of our love to everyone we miss so much which makes the pain turn to Joy, thank you and I love you, Patrick.

Aunt Mel, you were the brightest light in every room during every holiday, as far back as I can remember. I'll always remember the perfect red wrapping paper you wrapped all our Christmas presents in, the perfect salad dressing you made just for me, and all those perfect Friday morning breakfasts at McDonalds you took Eric and I too when I was in elementary school. I looked forward to those breakfasts all week, and don't worry, I never told mom that I only ordered two hash browns and a jug of milk because we both knew she would give us crap about it not being nutritious enough, haha. Thank you for all the laughs, the pop culture conversations about movies and TV shows and books, and the great taste you had in music. I know there will never be another Aunt like you, and I feel so lucky to have been able to call you mine for 35 years. I love you Aunt Mel. Give Weezie, Franci and Aunt Rosie a big hug for me. I know heaven is a funnier place already now that it has you.
Love, Lindsay Lou

Dearest big sister Mellie, I cannot remember a day in my life when you were not there. Whether it’s the stories you told me about pushing me in a stroller every night after dinner in the summer when I was a baby, or crying with me every month when I didn’t get pregnant to have my own baby, or celebrating with me when I did finally get pregnant. Whenever I got a promotion or achieved any milestones in my career you were there. For every important and even the not so important times you were there. In recent years all the fun we had since we relocated to Rehoboth Beach on the boat and watching you walk around at low tide in the middle of Rehoboth Bay! You were always there for me, and I’m not sure how I will manage without you. I will think about how strong you were and hope that I can be just as strong. Until we meet again, tell mom and dad and Rosie that I said hi and I will try to make you all proud as I navigate the balance of my life without you. There will always be a special place in my heart for you big sister, nobody can ever fill your shoes. Your loving baby sister Nannie.
