Obituary of Ann Marie Hinzman

Ann Marie Hinzman, age 84, of Wilmington, DE passed away on January 7, 2021 at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care at Christiana Hospital. Born in Chester, PA and raised in Claymont, DE, she had resided in North Wilmington, DE since 1970, previously residing in Boothwyn, PA. Ann Marie was the daughter of William and Norma Cashwiler Hanthorne. She was a 1954 graduate of Claymont High School. Ann Marie worked as a secretary for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Vanguard & Bandurski and Eckell, Sparks Law firm in Media, PA. Throughout her 33 year career, she also did all of the accounting work for her husband's business. She enjoyed reading a good book and summer vacations in Ocean City, NJ. Ann Marie was a loving and doting grandmother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Hanthorne. Ann Marie is survived by her husband of 64 years, David L. Hinzman; her son, David L. Hinzman, Jr.; her daughter, Vicki A. (Barry) Price; her three grandchildren, Carlie Price, Paige Price and Kimberly Bushweller; her three great grandchildren, Emma, Caroline and William. Services and interment will remain private.
