Blonda Sill

Obituary of Blonda R. Sill

Biondina R. Sill (nee Labricciosa/Bridge) was born August 12, 1931 in Linwood, PA and lived there most of her life. Her parents came from Italy and she loved sharing stories with her own children and grandchildren about her mother's cooking and gardening, and her father's wine-making. Blonda was so proud of her Italian heritage. She and her husband James Sill, the love of her life, were married for 66 years before his passing in 2015. Her marriage to Jim, the birth of their children, Sheila Pulcini (Pete), Frank Sill (Joan) and Rosemary O'Connor (John), their 5 grandchildren and their 13 great-grandchildren brought her so much joy. In addition to her parents and husband, Blonda is preceded in death by 3 of her siblings, Christine McCarthy, Joseph Labricciosa, and Albert Labricciosa. All of us are so grateful to call her mother and grandmother. She is also survived by her sister Alvera Jennings of Aston, PA and many nieces and nephews. Everyone knew her as Blondie and nothing made her happier than when all her family was around her enjoying the best of her meatballs, sauce, gnocchis and Christmas pizzelles. She had a green thumb and planted beautiful gardens in her Linwood backyard. Blondie and Jim spent adventurous years driving back and forth between their home in Linwood and their home in Madeira Beach, Florida to enjoy sunny weather and golfing with their family and life-long friends. Blondie loved her family dearly and lived a wonderful life, spending her final days, just as she spent every day, surrounded by her loving family. Blondie passed away December 19th at her daughter Sheila's home in Palm Harbor, Florida. She was 89 years old. With her passing our lives have changed for how much we will miss her. For her lifetime of love for all of us, we have been so blessed. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Blondie's memory to Ronald McDonald House Charities www.rmhc.org. Please designate Ronald McDonald House of Delaware.
