Obituary of Geraldine Ida Bateman

Geraldine Ida Bateman, age 80 of Upper Chichester, PA passed away on December 13, 2020 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Chester, PA, she was raised in Marcus Hook then was a resident of Boothwyn most of her life. Geraldine retired from Chichester Middle School where she worked in the cafeteria. She was devoted to her faith and a member of Immaculate Conception of Lourdes Catholic Church. Geraldine loved and enjoyed being with her family more than anything, and cherished time spent with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Stephen and Helen Kranyak Fedena, Geraldine is preceded in death by her husband, Michael "Mick" Bateman who passed in 2002. She is survived by 2 children, Kathryn Hembree and Michael (Kelly) Bateman, 2 grandchildren, Freddie and Tyler (Erin) Hembree, a great granddaughter, Addison, brother, Theodore Fedena, half sister, Marie Santoy, half brother, Stephen Fedena, and a nephew, Theodore S. Fedena, as well as her beloved cat, Priya. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 18th 10-11AM, at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM.
