Obituary of John E. McStravick

John E. McStravick, age 81 of Wilmington, DE passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Christiana Care Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 15, 1939, he was the son of Owen and Mary McStravick. John graduated from West Catholic High School, Class of 1957. After high school, he entered the U.S. Air Force and served from November 1957 through 1964. John was a Fleet Manager retiring from Pacifico Ford. Devoted to his faith, he was a member of Church of the Holy Child. John enjoyed reading, golfing and was an avid Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 59 years, Patricia McStravick who passed on July 24, 2020 and his son, Paul McStravick who passed in 2006. John is survived by his four children, Pat McStravick (Lisa Innis), Ann (Houston) McStravick, Chris McStravick, John McStravick and his wife, Jennifer; and a Daughter-in-law, Donna McStravick, 7 grandchildren, Kevin Houston, Jr., Nicole Houston, and Connor Houston, Patrick, Christopher Matthew and Taylor McStravick; two great grandchildren, Kaylee DiPietro and Sophia Houston. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM at the Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington, DE.
