Obituary of Carole L. Laumakis

Carole L. Laumakis, age 78 of Garnet Valley, PA died on July 10, 2016. Born to the late Wallace & Ethel Beissel Gilbert, she was raised in Southwest, Philadelphia. Carole has resided in Garnet Valley, PA for the past 30 years. She held various positions in the banking industry over the years before her retirement. Carole was known for her good cooking, especially her famous crabcakes. She enjoyed evenings out with her husband going to restaurants and listening to local bands. She is preceded in death by her husband, John M. Laumakis who died June 25, 2015, and a brother, Russell Gilbert. She is survived by her loving son, John P. Laumakis, a sister, Adele Heilig, her sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Loretta & Bernie Lynch, many nieces & nephews and 2 granddogs, Oliver & Bentley. A visitation will be held on Friday, 9-10AM followed by services at 10:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.
