Obituary of Robert A. Piperno

Robert "Pepe" A. Piperno, age 78 of Glen Mills, PA passed on September 26, 2020 at Rosewood Gardens  Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Robert resided in the Fox Hill Farms community since 1996, previously residing in Drexel Hill, PA.  Robert retired in 1992 as an Upper Darby Detective after 25 years of service.  Robert graduated from St. Tommy More class of 1960 where he was still very much involved,  He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, FOP, Columbus Club and enjoyed sports and playing cards at the Fox Hill Farms club house.  In addition to his parents, Joseph and Eleanor Croce Piperno, Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Francis George Piperno who passed in 2019.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years,  Susan M Iocona Piperno, 2 sons, Robert Piperno and his wife Donna and Steven Piperno, 3 grandchildren, Robert, Samantha and Joseph Piperno. A visitation will be held on Friday, 9:30-10:45AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. For those unable to attend, Livestreaming will be available by clicking on this link. Interment will follow at St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, Glen Mills, PA.
