Obituary of Wayne J. McCarty Sr.

Wayne J. "Maddog" McCarty, Sr., age 71, of Wildwood, NJ. passed away on September 23, 2020 at Cape Regional Hospital, NJ. Born in Chester, PA., Wayne has resided most of his life in Aston, PA. He recently has resided in Wildwood, NJ. Wayne graduated from Sun Valley High School and later, All State Career School. An Army Veteran, He served in the Vietnam War stationed in Pleiku in the central highlands of Vietnam. Wayne was a proud and dedicated life member of the Vietnam Vet Legacy Motorcycle Club, who loved all his brother's and sister's. He enjoyed every minute he shared with them. Wayne began his career as a Diesel Truck Mechanic, later he worked for Congoleum, also for Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. where he retired. In addition to his late father, Joseph H. McCarty, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Stabb. Wayne is survived by his wife, Donna Kaminiski McCarty; his son, Wayne J. (Carolea) McCarty, Jr; his daughter, Donna McCarty; his grandchildren, Justin, Nathan and Nicholas McCarty, Stephanie McCarty, Steven Gurnick and Matthew McVey; his sister, Lois McCarty, and his brother, Joseph McCarty. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020, 9-10 am at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral service at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Mt.
