Obituary of Carolyn Moody

Carolyn Moody, age 82, of West Chester, PA passed away on June 15, 2020 at Penn Hospice of West Chester. She was the daughter of Lionel and Irene Feistel Robbins. Born in Theresa, NY and raised in Deer River, NY, she had previously resided in Liverpool, NY, Bellville, MI, and Valrico, FL. Carolyn worked for Winkleman's department store for ten years before retiring. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and was involved in many community projects. At her home in FL, Carolyn was a member of Ladies Auxiliary, the choir, and the Welcome Committee. She cherished spending time with her family. She also loved the beach, traveling, and was an avid reader. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 50 years, Allan Moody. She is survived by her children, Nancy (Carmen) Vecchio, Robin Schmidt, Gary (Holly) Moody; her grandchildren, Angela (Andrew) Hunger, Nicholas (Shannon) Vecchio, Eric Schmidt, Matthew Schmidt, Deanna (Rami) Jamil, Justin, and Kyla Moody; her great grandchildren, Drew, Shane, Olivia, Addison, Nora, and Eva. A private interment will be held at a later date in Champion, NY.
