Stephen J. Porter, age 68 of Wilmington, DE passed on June 12, 2020 at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital. Born in Wilmington, DE and raised in Newport, DE, Stephen resided for the past 22 years in Wilmington, DE, previously residing in New Castle, DE. Self employed, Stephen ran the family construction business, George L. Porter & Sons for 30 years before retiring. Stephen graduated from Conrad High School and Brown Tech. Trade School where he earned his Master Carpenters Certificate. He loved the Chesapeake Bay where he enjoyed boating and fishing. He enjoyed custom carpentry work. Stephen is preceded in death by his parents, George L. and Irene Olbreys Porter. He is survived by his companion of 22 years, Judith Mongelluzzo, son, Jonathan (Vanessa) Porter, step sons, Joseph (Anastacia) Mongelluzzo and Andrew (Katlin) Mongelluzzo, brothers, Ronald, George and Paul Porter, 6 grandchildren, Blake, Ethan and Nolan Porter, Joey, Charlotte and Lilly Mongelluzzo.
