Obituary of Ida Usavage
Ida Usavage, age 90 of Lansdowne, PA died on April 24, 2020 at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital. Born in Romania and immigrated to the U.S. in 1948, residing in Chester and Upper Chichester in 1999. She worked at Two J's Hoagie Shop for over two decades and retired in 1994. Ida was a member of St. Hedwigs Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. She was a pet lover and had many dogs in her lifetime. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Usavage who passed in 1978, a daughter, Eileen P. Usavage who passed in 2002, and a granddaughter, Melissa M. Smerigan who passed in 2015. Ida is survived by 2 children, Eugene P. Usavage and Judy C. Zaccone, 2 grandchildren, Michelle and Michael, and also 6 great grandchildren. Livestreamed Private Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, April 28th, 2020, 2PM at S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
