Obituary of Thaddeus R. Mitchell

Thaddeus R. Mitchell, age 96 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on March 21, 2020 at Rose Court at Maris Grove. Born to Stanislaus and Stanislawa Runiec Mieczkowski in Worcester, MA, he resided in the Maris Grove Community for 4 years, previously residing in Springfield, VA and Annandale, VA. Thaddeus was an avid chess player and enjoyed jazz music. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing tennis with the Golden Racquets. He served his country in the Army during WWII. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy A. Gonedridge Mitchell, and 3 siblings; Lydia Misiewicz, Helena Barry, and Henry Mieczkowski. Thaddeus is survived by his 2 children, Richard A.(Marna Carlton) Mitchell and Linda Mitchell, and 3 grandchildren, James Mitchell, Laura Mitchell, and Emily Mitchell. Interment will remain Private.
