Dear Chris & Val, We are sorry we were unable to attend the funeral today, but because of our age & the coronavirus, we thought it was best that we not go. However, we do want to extend our sympathy to you & your families. Emma was a long time dear friend & we will surely miss her. Emma was a very dear lady and we will miss her. She was always such a help (sometimes a little too much, lol) with Andy when he was an infant. Whenever we visited she would try to give the kids each a dollar, even though she certainly needed it more than we did. The world needs more people like her. I regret not being able to attend the visitation. Please accept my condolences for your loss.

What a very important part of my childhood.. a second mom, my work buddy at the mall back in the day, the one that I told everything to growing up.
