Obituary of Dorothy A. Carey

Dorothy "Dot" Pauly Carey, age 83, of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Dorothy was born in Frackville, PA, previously residing in Aston, PA, and then her current home of Garnet Valley, PA in the Foxfield Community. Dorothy was a voracious reader, a talented seamstress, and a master chef. Above all, spending time with her family was Dorothy's favorite activity. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Dolores (Motz) Pauly, late husband Edward A. Carey, and brother William Pauly. She is survived by her 3 daughters; Ellen (Paul) Wolownik, Christine (Raymond) Tomasetti, Lisa (Fred) Rodriguez, brother Robert Pauly, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter. Relatives and friends are invited to Dot's Funeral Services, Tuesday, 11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA, where friends may call from 10:00-11:00AM. Burial will follow to Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Dot's name can be made to the Delaware County SPCA, 555 Sandy Bank Rd, Media, PA 19063
