Obituary of Karen M. Adams

Karen M. Adams, age 59 of West Chester, PA passed away on February 7, 2020 at Chester County Hospital. Born and raised in Ridley Park, PA, she resided for the past 30 years in West Goshen Township. Karen graduated from Ridley High School, class of 1978 and received her BS in Accounting from Widener University. An accountant, she currently worked for Glenn M. White Builders in West Chester for 30 years. She also held a second job as an accountant for Total Access in West Chester, PA. Devoted to her faith, Karen was an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Exton, PA serving as the treasurer. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family at their cabin in Bloomsburg, PA and also enjoyed the Outer Banks. Karen is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Wagner Kowalewski and brother, Kenneth Kowalewski. She is survived by the father of her children, Peter Adams, 3 children, Carolyn J. Adams, Jacob M. Adams and Mary Elizabeth Adams, father, Joseph Kowalewski and 4 siblings, David and Dennis Kowalewski, Kathleen Way and Jean DelViscio as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday, 9-10:30AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1105 E. Lincoln Hwy., Exton, PA followed by a funeral service at 10:30AM. Interment, private.
