Obituary of Kathleen Joyce Gries

Kathleen Joyce Gries (nee Clinton), age 56 of New Castle, DE passed away on January 26, 2020. Born in New Brunswick, NJ to Louis and Helen Vazekas Clinton, she resided for the past 5 years in New Castle, DE, previously residing in Bear, DE. Once working as a dental assistant, and primarily a homemaker, she loved being outdoors, going walking and hiking, and making new friends. Kathleen was the kind of person who could make friends with a stranger on the street and have them over for dinner the next night. In addition to her parents, Kathleen is preceded in death by her son, Brandon Gries who passed in 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Gries, 3 siblings, Nancy Clinton, Mary Stevenson and Joseph Clinton. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
